The 2004 Weblog Awards contest is open for accepting nominations. Lots of categories, so something for just about everyone.
For full details about the awards, the categories and the nomination procedures, see the nominations master post on the blog.
I’m nominated in the Best European (Non-UK) Blog category. Ok, so I nominated my own blog – first ever bit of shameless self-promotion 🙂

Speaking of blog awards, the best of the blogs contest – The BOBs Awards – being run by German broadcaster Deutsche Welle is nearing its conclusion. More than 100 blogs in 11 categories are waiting to be judged by a jury of blog experts and users around the world. The BOBs opened in September; winners will be announced next month.
Is there a round-up of all the various blog awards available? Is http://2004weblogawards.com/ the same as http://2004.bloggies.com/ ?
This is confusing…
Not heard of the bloggies, Andrew.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there are loads of other contests going on as well. No round-up of blog awards that I can find.
