Via Elizabeth Albrycht, news of an event that’s just made for anyone involved in communicating or collaborating online – Online Social Networks 2005:
OSN2005 will be a summit for all those interested in working with social networking processes, tools, and media. In addition to attending many workshops, panels, and presentations by leading experts and practitioners, attendees will have the opportunity to be part of a community with a significant role in defining the future direction of online social networking. If you want to help shape this industry, come to OSN2005!
Taking place from 9-23 February (yes, spread over two weeks), this event includes workshops on topics as varied as ‘Flickr: Evolution of a Photo-based Social Network,’ ‘Exploring On-Line Tools For Collaboration,’ and ‘Wikis: A new collaboration infrastructure for organizations.’ The speaker list is impressive too, with many well-known names.
Best of all, the cost is only $35 if you sign up by 9 February ($50 after that). And you can pay via Pay Pal as well as by credit card.
It looks too good to miss, so I’ve signed up.
