Great! I’ve just received my repeat order for business cards featuring this Hugh McLeod cartoon on the back.
I first ordered these cards just before last Christmas. Just like that original order, this repeat order exceeds my expectations in terms of good-value quality work, reliability of the vendor (StreetCards in London), and simply great and speedy service.
What better customer testimonial can there be but a repeat order? And then telling everyone about it?
And, I can also tell you, these cards are a real conversation starter. Well, the cartoon is 😉
So if you want something to present to your potential clients that’s a little different and guaranteed to start a conversation, head over to gapingvoid and place your order.
Incidentally, if you plan on attending the Les Blogs conference in Paris on 25 April (I’ll be there), Hugh will be there drawing cartoons on the discussions and reacting to them, on stage, according to an announcement on the event wiki. Cool!
Neville,
Thanks for turning me on to Hugh McLeod.
Just finished reading his HughTrain manifesto. I was stunned by his insights. http://www.gapingvoid.com/Moveable_Type/archives/000823.html
{THE HUGHTRAIN: “THE MARKET FOR SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN IS INFINITE.”
We are here to find meaning. We are here to help other people do the same. Everything else is secondary.
We humans want to believe in our own species. And we want people, companies and products in our lives that make it easier to do so. That is human nature.
It is your soul, and the purpose and beliefs that embodies, that people will buy into.}
That is the most lucid explanation ever for the powerful appeal of blogging as a marketing medium.
Not only does he draw wicked cartoons, Hugh also writes some thought-provoking stuff.
As you’ve discoveed, Michael!
